Base Options

Materials

Aluminum

Serving as our standard base material, aluminum stands as a lightweight and rust-free material that provides many years of durability.

Weathering Steel

Weathering Steel serves the same function as aluminum while providing exhibits with a rustic aesthetic. While weathering steel undergoes oxidation, it uniquely forms an outer layer that acts as a protective barrier. This rust remains confined to the surface, preventing deeper penetration and effectively shielding the steel from corrosion.

Installation & Mounting

Direct Embedment

Our most popular installation method. Direct Embedment buries the exhibit base directly into the ground with a concrete base, providing lasting durability.

Baseplate Mount

With this method, exhibit bases are fitted with baseplates that allow mounting to any flat surface. Baseplate Mounting is commonly used for mounting on decks, as well as other wood and concrete surfaces.

Seasonal Mount

Seasonal Mounts provide an option for installation that makes the exhibit easily removable. They are secured by posts installed in the ground with a baseplate resting on the surface. This allows the legs and baseplates on the exhibit to be secured on top with screws.

Post Mount

This method utilizes a metal sleeve featuring pre-drilled mounting holes, ensuring a secure attachment of the frame over your wooden post. It accommodates both single and multiple post configurations for enhanced flexibility.

Baseplate Covers

When you want to cover your baseplates, we can provide you with baseplate covers. These covers fit snugly over the baseplates, and are attached using screws.
