Delaware Greenways enhanced the user experience along the Jack Markell Trail by installing new signage to support both wayfinding and education. The new kiosk provides a central point of information, informing trail users about the trail’s route, as well as the nature, history, and culture to be found along the way.
This project serves a vital purpose for the community, educating visitors on trail development in Delaware and underscoring the importance of trails to local communities. Given their positive history with existing kiosks, Delaware Greenways partnered with Pannier Graphics. Pannier was chosen specifically for our proven ability to deliver long-lasting, durable outdoor displays.
For this initiative, Delaware Greenways invested in three durable Fiberglass Embedded panels. They worked closely with Pannier's team, utilizing our graphic design services to ensure the final displays were visually striking, highly informative, and perfectly suited for the outdoor environment.
The organization praised the seamless process of developing the interpretive panels. Delaware Greenways Marketing & Outreach Manager, Terri Jones, commented on the collaboration:
From first contact, we were supplied the info we needed to start the process from our side. As we began to supply our items for each panel and through the design edits, Tori, our contact, was very helpful answering the numerous questions we had, and relaying messages to the designers. They did a great job organizing the panels so that they were aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand.
This new installation ensures that the public can easily navigate and appreciate the valuable resources along the Jack Markell Trail for years to come. If you’d like to discuss how Pannier can help with your next project, please contact us here.
